What this is.
Post Edited March 18th 2009 to reflect life changes This is mostly a place where I ramble, rant, and rave. Reason I have this journal: To maintain some form of human contact. Due to my job vastly limiting my social time, and having no social interaction at work, I want to keep interacting with people. I also live in an isolated area, so this is the best, easiest way for me to do so. Main Topics will be : Various Games, some slice of life, Anime (mostly the artsy-type anime), Politics (I lean centrist), and Economics/Weather (career fields) Friending: Open. I will FL posts and filter posts for privacy purposes or if someone doesn't need to know certain things. This is only about 5% of my posts. Usually this is done to protect embarassment, either for myself or others. If I Friended you: I found you interesting for some reason. I usually just fire away on the comments. I try to friend one person randomly per month and see what happens. Oftentimes it's because you left a comment in a friend's journal. Things that will make me get rid of you: Very little. Usually only if you're milk carton material, in which case if you return I add you back, unless you decide to de-list me yourself. The Equine Forecaster Story: Nickname I got in the military. Came from when Commander heard me discuss the forecast in terms of barnyard animals, and went crazy, until it was explained to him why I was doing it. One animal in particular was a donkey- so that's where the equine comes from. Forecaster comes from my military job- which was a weather forecaster. Enjoy! I needed to do one of these splashes. Legally, I think Massachusetts has a winnable case.
Seriously, where does it say in the constitution that marriage laws are the property of the federal government? Therefore, the 10th Amendment should apply. If the conservative judges disagree with that, how is that not the same judicial activism that was complained about heavily when Republicans had executive/legislative power? Moar anime stuffs- briefly.
The Saint Seiya OAV series has some of the best animation of anything I've seen in a long while. It really looks awesome. Another nice series is Sea Story on Animesuki- it's more in the vein of Aria style cuteness then ZOMG awesomeness, but a good fun story Just when I think anime stuff goes into a death spiral of moe, there are things like this to snap me out of it. | | Sunday, July 5th, 2009 | | 5:49 pm |

Blazblue- my thoguhts and review.
Great port, really mediocre game. Flaws: Imbalanced, too many chars geared towards easy runaway. (and I usually like runaway-style play). People online noticed this as well- you only see three chars these days (Nus, Arakunes, and Jins) get over 10% play. It's proof that you can allow characters to do a ton of stuff, and they can end up more boring then SFIV Gief. Good points: excellent SP content, good char design outside of the above mentioned, best online of any fighter. If they rebalanced this game to make it more rushdown oriented and more balanced, I'd give it another shot, but as it stands now- the game isn't worth a serious time investment. Question to the legal friends on here- would this be a tort?
Apparently there has been a rash of tournaments nationally that have not been paying out prize money? How would you go about establishing a small claims case for such? This isn't applying to me, but I'm thinking the best option may be a small claims case, since the money is usually around $500 or less. Current Mood:  curious | | 6:44 am |

Just saw the first ep of Lost Canvas. Looks like the series has a lot of potential, and glad I didn't spoil myself with the manga scans. My friend is safe for now, but it's tense over there. And he gets to be deployed again when this is all over. He has Moroboshi-esque luck when it comes to the military. |
